Sinopsis:

El investigador privado, Tracey Steele, y su compañero, Tom Lopaka, son los propietarios de Hawaiian Eye, una combinación de agencia de detectives y empresa de seguridad privada, situada en Honolulu, Hawai. Su principal cliente es The Hawaiian Village Hotel, que a cambio de servicios de seguridad, ofrece la agencia una oficina de lujo en el recinto del hotel. Los socios investigan los misterios y proteger a los clientes con la ayuda de la fotógrafo Cricket Blake, que también canta en el Hotel´s Shell Bar y toca el ukelele. Inestimable es también la ayuda del Taxita local Kim Quisado, que tiene "parientes" en todos las islas dispuestos a echar una mano a los detectives cuando estos lo necesitan. El ingeniero convertido en detective Greg McKenzie, se une a la agencia más tarde como socio de pleno derecho.
