Sinopsis:

La serie trata sobre la vida privada y profesional de un grupo de abogados de Pittsburgh. Arnold Bach es el íntegro pero políticamente correcto fiscal de distrito. Gene Rogan, el fiscal adjunto y jefe de la Oficina de Delitos que compitió con Bach por su cargo. Jesse es la esposa de Gene; Linda Bauer, la jefa de la Unidad de Delitos Sexuales. Peter (hermano menor de Linda), un defensor público local y Michael James, el fiscal superior del departamento. Al mismo tiempo, unos abogados jóvenes luchan por ganar prestigio persiguiendo a cualquier tipo de criminales.
