Sinopsis:

La serie nos mostraba los problemas a los que se enfrentaba Daniel Boone, en su papel de mediador entre colonos e indios,( algunos ciertamente hostiles), o enfrentándose a tramperos sin escrúpulos, ladrones de pieles, y todo tipo de poco recomendables personajes.

Boone vivía con su mujer Rebecca, y sus dos hijos, Jemina e Israel, en el recién colonizado estado de Kentucky, y tenía como compañero de aventuras al indio "Mingo".
